Life and energy from enzymes

Enzymes are life energy which work to heal and to repair our body.

Fresh fruits and vegetables that are not cooked contain their own digestive enzymes to help digest that food. Cooking above 110 degrees destroys most of the live enzymes in fresh fruits and vegetables. Live food contains live enzymes.

We become sleepy after eating a cooked meal because our reserve enzymes are called away from their clean up duty to help with the digestion of cooked and processed foods.
The more fresh fruits and vegetables you eat the more live enzymes there are to assist in the digestion of your food. You will experience more energy right away just by eating fresh foods.

Raw Nuts contain an enzyme inhibitor to prevent them from sprouting and growing. By soaking the nuts overnight it releases their enzyme inhibitor and makes them easier to digest. I prefer the taste of soaked and then dried nuts. By using my dehydrator on a low temperature of 105 degrees it will preserve most of the live enzymes and when dried well the nuts will be crisp and tasty.
A few simple changes can make a huge difference in your life. Protection from many diseases can be yours with the food choices you make each day. Start today to choose live food, start with 50 % raw food and notice how much extra energy you have.

Best of health to you and your family!

Healthy Option Recipe for Easy Almond Milk

Easy Almond Milk

1/2 C. Raw Almonds, soaked                            2 C. Water

½ tsp. Vanilla Extract                                          ¼ tsp. Sea Salt

1 Frozen Banana (optional)                                1 tsp. Flax Seeds, ground (optional)

Place ingredients into blender and blend well. You can add more water until desired taste. If you like it sweet you can add dates or honey. For a different flavor try cashews or sesame seeds in place of the almonds. A frozen banana will make it taste creamy and cold. Experiment with what flavors you like.
